The Certified Lean Practitioner course provides a complete package of education, application, and coaching for those seeking to learn and gain hands-on experience with the most powerful tools used for lean transformations.
As a Practitioner, you will be able to manage projects, lead value stream mapping sessions, identify waste, design improvements, implement improved value streams, and monitor new processes.
Leveraging a powerful, yet easy to navigate, learning management system, this course provides a variety of educational techniques. Examples include video presentations, articles, podcasts, discussion forums, and a team-based project.
Three Options
- 100% online, for 7 weeks, with weekly student team meetings and a weekly check-in with the instructor and coach
- Blended, or flipped classroom approach, with online and 7 half-day in-person coaching and instruction sessions
- Customized programs for organizations with 8 to 16 candidates – your chance to run multiple projects and see incredible results

This course has everything you need:
- A package of online tools you will access through a state-of-the-art learning management system

For 100% online, you will work with a team of fellow students to complete a lean project using an online business simulation.
For blended and customized programs, you will work on a lean project for your organization, create quantifiable improvements, and begin seeing immediate results. Your instructor will help scope your project to meet your available time.
Your time investment will need to be about 8 to 12 hours per week.
