Meet Alexis Brady | Building Better Staffing

February 12, 2026

Alexis Brady is the Director of Staffing Operations at ROLINC Staffing & Search. She joined the company in 2010 as a recruiter after earning her degree in communications and marketing. At the time, she knew little about manufacturing staffing beyond interviewing and working with people, which quickly proved to be the foundation of her success.

Throughout her career, Alexis remained focused on ROLINC’s leadership vision: supporting candidates, employees, and clients in ways that create long-term value. That mindset guided her progression through roles including Division Manager, Branch Manager, Marketing Strategist and Employee Development Specialist, and Regional Development Manager. Each role expanded her experience in operations, leadership, and business development.

Continuous Improvement in Recruiting

For Alexis, recruiting is a constant exercise in continuous improvement. Processes, tools, and expectations are always evolving. One experience in particular reinforced that improvement is not always about adding new technology.

When ROLINC attempted to integrate new recruiting software with a job board, the solution appeared efficient on paper. In practice, it slowed response times, increased advertising costs, and reduced control over the process. Instead of forcing the system to work, Alexis and her team stepped back to evaluate what actually delivered value.

Applying Lean thinking helped identify bottlenecks and unnecessary delays. The result was unexpected but effective. Keeping the systems separate allowed the team to move faster, communicate more clearly, and better serve both candidates and clients. The experience highlighted a core Lean principle: improvement is about choosing what works, not simply adding more.

Collaboration That Drives Results

Collaboration has been central to Alexis’s success. A strong example came when her team was tasked with filling 15 highly niche roles on a tight timeline. With six recruiters involved, alignment and communication became critical.

The team quickly agreed on expectations and strategy, then leaned into each recruiter’s strengths. Regular check-ins and shared updates helped prevent duplicated efforts and allowed the team to adapt as market feedback emerged. All roles were filled, but just as importantly, the experience strengthened both team dynamics and the client relationship.

Learning From Setbacks

Not every lesson came easily. Earlier in her career, Alexis worked within a structure that organized recruiting teams strictly by division. While initially effective, the approach eventually created silos that limited communication and narrowed opportunities for candidates with transferable skills.

Recognizing the limitations led to meaningful change. Silos were reduced, cross-team communication increased, and recruiters were encouraged to think more holistically. The shift improved placements, strengthened the candidate experience, and reinforced an important lesson: growth often requires rethinking what feels comfortable.

Why Lean Matters

Alexis values Lean because it supports people rather than working against them. Lean helps teams remove unnecessary obstacles, clarify workflows, and focus on meaningful contributions. In her experience, productivity improves alongside morale when processes are designed with people in mind.

This perspective closely aligns with Transformance Advisors’ belief that sustainable improvement is driven by engaged, supported teams. Lean is not just about efficiency. It is about creating better experiences at work.

Life Outside of Work

Outside of work, Alexis enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters. Much of her free time is spent camping, visiting playgrounds, and staying active outdoors with family and friends.

She is also pursuing a long-term personal goal. Alexis is currently studying Chinese medicine and plans to become a licensed 5E Acupuncturist in 2029, reflecting her continued interest in systems, balance, and well-being.

Supporting Lean Through Alignment

ROLINC Staffing & Search has supported the manufacturing, construction, and distribution industries in the Rocky Mountain Region for nearly 35 years. Alexis has seen firsthand that organizations with a genuine Lean focus are consistently more attractive to job seekers, while candidates with Lean experience are highly valued by employers.

ROLINC approaches this by emphasizing alignment rather than quick placement. Employers benefit from stronger long-term fits and reduced hiring waste. Job seekers benefit from opportunities within organizations where Lean is practiced daily.

That shared focus on people, process, and sustainability mirrors the work Transformance Advisors does with its partners. When organizations invest in both systems and people, continuous improvement becomes something they can truly sustain.
